Philipp Klammsteiner born 1978, is a graphic designer and artist from Bolzano.
At the age of 14 he discovered the underground scene of graffiti and skateboarding. These two subcultures will be decisive for his future. Already at the age of 17 he discovered his passion for graphic design, which eventually developed into his profession. His career has been built on a wide range of knowledge. He was particularly influenced by the founding of his own skateboard brand and his work experience as a graphic designer in various studios. At the age of 27, he decided to begin his studies at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, which he successfully completed.
In 2012 he opened his own graphic design studio where he still pursues his creativity as an independent creative ambassador.
Combinations of illustration and graphics distinguish his work from other studios. His graphic skills still come from the old school. Strictly speaking, at the end of the eighties/beginning of the nineties, which he has preserved until today. He prefers graphic handwork, but also combines this analogue with the digital and thus gets his own style. This way of working he also takes over when creating his artworks, whereby he likes to merge graphics with street art. As a technique, he prefers collage, stencils and spray cans, which he uses in both figurative and abstract works. In his works, he deals with topics such as social networks, what they do to us and how our society deals with them.
